Tosa Maidan is a picturesque meadow located in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, India, surrounded by the Pir Panjal range of mountains. The area is situated at an altitude of around 3,000 meters and covers a vast area of around 100 square kilometers. The area is also home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including rare species such as the Himalayan black bear, musk deer. Tosa Maidan has a rich history and was once used as a firing range by the Indian Army. However, due to the efforts of local activists and environmentalists, the area has been declared a 'no-firing zone' and has been opened up for tourism. On the Tosamaidan - Doodhpathri trek, we spend multiple days hiking and camping on this expansive lush-green meadows of the region.

You will be received at the Airport and we drive to a Hotel in Srinagar City. We have free evening for briefings, last-minute packing etc. Overnight Hotel
We will be driving for approximately 2 hours, covering a distance of 70 kilometers after breakfast. Our destination is Sitaharan, which is the final permanent settlement before entering Tosamaidan. Once we reach Sitaharan, we will drive for another 7 kilometers on an off-road path to reach our trek starting point. From there, we will walk for approximately 45 minutes to reach our camping site at Kadalbal. Overnight Camp
We will commence our trek to Khalkath after breakfast, which should take us approximately 3 to 3 ½ hours to complete. During the trek, we will pass through scenic open meadows and pine forests. Overnight Camp
The day's trek would involve 3 to 3 ½ hrs of walking through lush green meadows with plenty of Mountain Scenery around. After fixing the camp we have time to rest or take a side walk around the campsite
After breakfast we start our trekking to our last camp at Doodhpathri. Doodhpathri is at the walking distance of about 4 to 4 ½ Hours we walk through huge meadows and Pine Trees. We reach the road-head and start driving to Srinagar. Overnight Hotel at Srinagar
We drop you to the Airport and say our good-byes! Trip ends.
