Nagtibba (3022m/ 9915 ft) is a few feet short of the magical 10,000-foot mark. The mountain’s mixed oak and deodar forests are dense and isolated, and host to a rich variety of birds and wildlife. Nagtibba top offers snow-capped views of Gangotri range, Bandarpunch range, Black Peak, the Swargarohini and the lesser mountains of Himachal Pradesh. We start & finish the trek at Pantwari, the roadhead on the western side of the mountain which is appoximately 2 hrs drive from Mussoorie (3hrs from Dehradun). For people looking at a short, easy trekking getaway without having to drive too far in the mountains, Nagtibba trek is perfect. You can also combine this treks with stay in Mussoorie/ Dhanaulti/ Kanatal and for adventure seekers, a rafting trip on the river Ganga is highly recommended.
